Joe Biden Tears Up At Final White House Event

President Joe Biden became emotional as his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, honored him as her “husband and hero” during his final farewell dinner at the White House Sunday evening.

The event, held on the South Lawn, was a celebration to thank Democratic supporters and donors. Jill Biden praised her husband’s 40-plus years of service, including his last four as

president, but there were no signs of Vice President Kamala Harris at the gathering, as she is reportedly vacationing in Hawaii.

“What I’ve watched you do for more than 40 years is extraordinary… Joe what you’ve done the last four years is breathtaking,” the first lady said as Biden wiped away tears. “My husband and hero, Joe Biden,” she added as the two embraced and shared a kiss.
