The scandal surrounding the disappearance and death of 13-year-old Madeline Soto intensified after the publication of previously unreleased videos of Stefan Stearns from the DVR.
The video shows Stefan, the main suspect in the case, chatting casually with a police officer during his transfer from Orange County Jail to Osceola County Jail on March 1. The video was shot hours before Madeline’s body was discovered.
Steven talked about his night in prison. He told the policeman that he “couldn’t accept sleeping on bare metal” and that on the first night he had to use “toilet paper instead of a pillow” while lying on a “concrete floor.”
