When my husband of thirty years passed away, my world crumbled. Jack was my rock, my confidant, my everything. Without him, life seemed devoid of purpose. I closed my eyes, letting his words wash over me. It felt as though a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. “I miss you so much, Jack.”

“I know, Bet. I miss you too. But I’ll always be with you, watching over you. You have so much love to give, so much life left to live. Don’t let my death steal that from you.”

The call ended, and I sat there, the phone still pressed to my ear. A sense of peace settled over me, mingling with my sorrow. Somehow, Jack had found a way to reach out, to remind me that our love was stronger than death.

In the days that followed, I began to rebuild my life, drawing on the strength of our bond. I returned to church, finding comfort in the familiar hymns and prayers. My faith, once shattered, slowly began to mend.
