Poor Riona was cruelly set on fire with gasoline — but after a long road of recovery, she’s finally getting the happy ending she deserves…

The degree of cruelty some individuals can have against pets is simply astonishing. When her owner cruelly set fire to her last year, a gentle puppy named Riona suffered as much as anyone.

Riona is moving into her new home, nevertheless, almost precisely a year after that terrible occurrence.

Riona, a pitbull mix, rushed down the street surrounded in flames in Nutbush, Tennessee, scaring locals there last June. She had clearly been set on fire purposefully because of the gas smell.

“All you could smell was gas,” Mallory Mclemore of Bluff City Veterinary Specialists told Memphis Commercial Appeal.
