If you ask me, Prince William and Kate Middleton have done a great job raising their children â Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis â and theyâve done it in the most ordinary way possible. Growing up to become a working member of the Royal Family is one thing, but having people to rely on and talk to about certain things when raised in that environment might be even more critical.
Sadly, George, Charlotte, and Louis donât have that many children their age who are in the same position as them. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet would, of course, be ideal candidates in this respect, but they live in the US and have barely met.
That said, is it really OK that the royal children should become collateral damage as their parents and uncle, Prince Harry, are feuding? No, in my opinion itâs time for William and Kate Middleton to let their guard down a little â and allow their children to visit Harry and Meghan for the sake of their future.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will always have each other, that much is virtually set in stone. The three siblings will always be able to discuss their lives as royals with one another, including what they should do in certain situations, or how to go about getting guidance regarding future decisions.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis âshould visit their cousins in the USâ
But as things stand right now, they will also inevitably be dragged into the ongoing feud between their uncle, Prince Harry, and their parents and other family members.
George, Charlotte, and Louis have two cousins on the other side of the Atlantic: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Yet theyâve barely met them and â I think itâs safe to assume â donât really know them at all.
If things improved between their parents and the Sussexes perhaps theyâd develop a close bond with their US cousins. I imagine the opportunities that would arise would only be positive for George, Charlotte, and Louis, as well as for Archie and Lilibet.
After all, it doesnât matter who has a future within the Royal Family; itâs all about functional and loving family bonds â knowing there is someone to talk to and rely on.
case of Harry and Meghan versus Prince William and Kate, it seems very much like theyâre destroying their childrenâs chance to get to know their cousins. And why should they be dragged into a feud theyâve had nothing to do with from the beginning?
