Dana also passed away a few months after her high-profile statement. The president of the Christopher Foundation, Katie Lewis, noted that she visited the actress a few days before her death, and she looked “strong and courageous.”
Dana was a singer, as well as an actress, who appeared on stage and television several times. She has starred in episodes of some drama series such as OZ and Law & Order.
