I took care of everything, he said. In August, I worked. In the kitchen, I tripped and hurt myself. My arm broke. 19 pins and one plate. It was a catastrophe.<\/p>\n
I steer clear of talking about how everything occurs \u201cfor a purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n
Why would I skip down the hallway to the kitchen after spending six months in a wheelchair? I had great expectations for myself, but I was also fallible. I didn\u2019t place the same value on failures.<\/p>\n
. It was his fourth autobiography. First, the actor admitted, \u201cMy guitar playing is terrible. My dancing, acting, and drawing are all dreadful. Now I\u2019m writing. Fortunately, it\u2019s entertaining.<\/p>\n
Despite his circumstances, the actor has maintained a cheerful outlook. He founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson\u2019s Research, which has raised more than $1 billion, in attempt to find a cure.<\/p>\n
He said to AARP, \u201cOptimism is sustained if you can find something to be grateful for. Despite the behemoth I drag around with me every day, I am 60 years old and enjoy my life, my wife, and my children. My life is impacted by Parkinson\u2019s. not the driver<\/p>\n
