I was hanging out with my bestie in a restaurant when suddenly my husband came in and sat next to a young, beautiful woman! Her answer threw me off. “They’ve been coming here every Wednesday for the past few months. Such a lovely pair.”
\nI felt my heart drop to my stomach. My friend squeezed my hand, signaling me to stay calm. “We need to act, but wisely,” she whispered.

He paled, stuttering, “I-I can explain.”<\/p>\n
I held up my hand. “No need. I just need time to decide if this marriage is worth saving.”<\/p>\n
With that, I walked out, leaving him in silence. My friend was right: I didn\u2019t need to create a scene to preserve my self-respect. I deserved honesty and loyalty, and if he couldn\u2019t provide that, then I had the strength to move on.<\/p>\n
The days that followed were filled with reflection and support from my best friend and family. I knew that whatever deci<\/p>\n
