It has been said that\u00a0Elon Musk\u00a0expected around 8 million people to join in the talk that Trump dubbed the \u201cgreatest interview ever.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0X\u00a0<\/em>owner and\u00a0Tesla\u00a0<\/em>CEO has been a supporter of Trump, and he showed that again when he joined the former president on the stage at his high-profile rally in Butler, Pennsylvania \u2014 the same place\u00a0Trump\u00a0was nearly assassinated in July.<\/p>\n

The billionaire was seen wearing a hat with \u201cMake America Great Again\u201d written on it and his signature \u201cOccupy Mars\u201d shirt.<\/p>\n

Trump started the discussion giving detailed insight of the assassination attempt on him. He then accused the Democrats for violently replacing Baden on the presidential ticket with Musk commenting, that the\u00a0party\u00a0\u201ctook [Biden] out back behind the shed and basically shot him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Further, Trump tackled the issue of inflation, saying, \u201cI think we have the worst inflation we\u2019ve had in 100 years\u2026 bacon costing four or five times more than it did a few years ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

As expected, he attacked his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, for various issues, including immigration, saying that the current government has let criminals and non-productive people cross the border and get into the States. He also stated that Harris was becoming a\u00a0\u201cradical left, San Francisco liberal\u2026 and now she wants to be more Trump than Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump left many stunned with his statement that domestic \u2018enemies\u2019 were \u2018more dangerous\u2019 than foreign, declaring that North Korean, Chinese, and Russian leaders were\u00a0\u201cat the top of their game.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are tough, they are smart and they are vicious,\u201d\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n

Trump claimed that American farmers struggled to sell their products abroad and that selling US cars in Europe was \u201cimpossible.\u201d He also exaggerated the US aid to Ukraine and downplayed<\/p>\n

Europe\u2019s contributions in its conflict with Russia. However, most of the claims he made were dubbed false by the media following his interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a deficit with [the EU] of $250 billion, which people don\u2019t know,\u201d\u00a0the former president stated. \u201cIt sounds so nice\u2014\u2019the European Union\u2019. But let me tell you: they\u2019re not as tough as China, but they\u2019re bad. And I let them know it, and that\u2019s probably why they notified you. No, they don\u2019t treat our country well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Though Musk shares many political views with Trump, his support for him throughout the recent years has been off again, on again.<\/p>\n

Back in 2022, Much posted on Twitter, \u201cI don\u2019t hate the man, but it\u2019s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two, however, agreed on the issue of COVID19 and were against restrictions. Further, their bond got stronger after Musk\u2019s companies faced a number of federal investigations over employment practices, his takeover of Twitter and claims about Tesla\u2019s autopilot feature under Biden\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0Yahoo News,\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0journalist and conspiracy theory expert Mike Rothschild\u00a0spoke of Trump\u2019s change of election landscape, which is becoming increasingly less reliant on traditional media.<\/p>\n

\u201cNew voters, the people who are just getting involved in the electoral process, those are people you can reach through streamers, through podcasts, through influencers. Following the two-hour long interview, a spokesperson for the Harris campaign said that Trump\u2019s\u00a0\u201cextremism\u201d\u00a0was on\u00a0\u201cfull display for those unlucky enough to listen in tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTrump\u2019s entire campaign is in service of people like Elon Musk and himself\u2014self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class.\u201d<\/p>\n
