Writing messages on a cup of coffee has somehow turned into a trend during the past years, and many customers find it extra special when they stumble upon something like \u201cthanks a LATTE!\u201d \u201cthank you SOY much!\u201d \u201chave a BREW-tiful day!\u201d or \u201cWATER we\u2019d do without you?!\u201d<\/p>\n

However, one woman swore she\u2019 never returning to a Starbucks location after the barista scribbled a \u201chidden message\u201d on her cup.<\/p>\n

Namely, twin sisters Ari and Noe Chance, from Canada, took to TikTok to share a video which shows one of them holding a Starbucks cup, with a \u201csecret message\u201d written across the top and an arrow directing attention to the printed hot drink warning underneath.<\/h3>\n

Normally, the text warns customers: \u201cCareful, the beverage you\u2019re about to enjoy is extremely hot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, it turned out the barista crossed se of those words out to have the message read, \u201cCareful, you\u2019re extremely hot.\u201d<\/p>\n

The barista probably thought his comment would make the woman\u2019s day, but just the opposite happened. According to the twin sister, she felt embarrassed instead of flattered. \u201cWhat just happened at Starbucks? Never going back there,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The video, which was initially shared in 2022, went viral. Some people felt the message was humorous and explained that it reminded them of the cup warning and \u201cwas kinda funny.\u201d Others, however, felt the message came across as\u2026 well, just \u201crude.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was smooth [though] not gonna lie,\u201d shared one TikToker, while a second wrote, \u201cIt\u2019s cute, girls say guys never do anything. He just put his heart out to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third said, \u201cThis is why guys stopped asking girls out. Someone attempted to \u2018shoot their shot\u2019 and you put them on blast on TikTok and said you are not going back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added, \u201cThat is rude who did that, but that person is not wrong \u2013 you\u2019re beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, there were also those who questioned if the barista was the one who wrote that message or it was the sisters themselves for the sake of likes and media attention.<\/p>\n
