President Donald Trump\u2019s decision to green light an attack on Iran has left many of his detractors scratching their heads.<\/p>\n

After all, Trump loudly and repeatedly promised not to get the US involved in another war when he was campaigning for office in 2024. Kamala Harris would drag the United States into a conflict with Iran, it was said, and Trump would ensure that they had at least four years of relative peace.<\/p>\n

It took little over a year for him to break that promise, with the POTUS agreeing to help Israel attack Iran over alleged fears that the Middle Eastern nation are on the verge of having a nuclear weapon.<\/p>\n

With no concrete evidence that the claim is true, the door remains open for critics of Trump and his airstrikes on Iran \u2013 of which there are many \u2013 to speculate if there aren\u2019t ulterior motives at play.<\/p>\n

There are many, for example, who have voiced the opinion that launching an invasion of Iran is the perfect way to get people to stop talking about the Epstein files. Trump, readers will surely remember, was mentioned thousands of times in the files, and though being named is not proof of wrongdoing, there are rumored to be a lot of documents that remain unpublished.<\/p>\n

Put simply, there are those who say Trump is trying to distract from the fallout of the Epstein files by giving the world at large something bigger and more explosive (pardon the pun) to look at.<\/p>\n

And if employing the classic wag the dog tactic is what Trump truly intends, there are other subjects he can turn to that could well succeed in gripping the public\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n

The 79-year-old recently instructed Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to release government files relating to aliens, prompting a new wave of scepticism as to whether or not he\u2019s trying to generate a storm capable of burying certain other, less-than-flattering stories.<\/p>\n

Vivian Wilson, estranged daughter of Space X and Tesla founder Elon Musk, certainly thinks so.<\/p>\n

Writing on social media, Wilson penned: \u201cNot to put my tinfoil hat on, but I think this alien bull\u2014 is a distraction from the Epstein Files.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: \u201cBased on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters. GOD BLESS AMERICA!\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Pete Hegseth provided an update, telling reporters that he had people currently \u201cworking on it\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, this isn\u2019t the first time Vivian Wilson has weighed in publicly on the Epstein files. After the Department of Justice released in excess of three million files \u2013 included in which were email conversations between her father, Elon Musk, and Jeffrey Epstein \u2013 Wilson posted on social media to share what she remembered from her childhood.<\/p>\n
