Now, the US Health Secretary, RFK Jr., has commented on his boss\u2019s \u201creally bad\u201d diet, asking the question: How is Trump still alive?<\/p>\n

Donald Trump isn\u2019t famous for his diet. The president is known for his love of fast food and snacks, with no vegetables and little exercise. In an interview with CNN\u2019s Anderson Cooper in 2016, Donald branded the McDonald\u2019s burger, The Quarter Pounder, \u201cgreat stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

On October 20, during his 2024 presidential campaign, he worked behind the counter at a McDonald\u2019s in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania,<\/p>\n

Donald\u2019s passion for McDonald\u2019s has been a long love story. In 2017, Politico reported that during his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump\u2019s bodyguard, Keith Schiller, would routinely do fast food runs to McDonald\u2019s near the Marine Air Terminal in Queens while Trump waited in his limousine outside.<\/p>\n

\u201cEgg McMuffins were often the order in the morning, or two quarter-pounders and a large fries later in the day,\u201d Politico reported, citing an unnamed former aide.<\/p>\n

\nMoreover, the news outlet reported that Schiller also headed to McDonald\u2019s in Washington, D.C., if \u201cthe White House kitchen staff couldn\u2019t match the satisfaction of a quarter-pounder with cheese (no pickles, extra ketchup) and a fried apple pie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some years earlier, in 2017, Trump\u2019s former campaign officials Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie wrote in their book Let Trump Be Trump that his go-to order was \u201ctwo Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish and a chocolate malted shake.\u201d<\/p>\n

While fast food isn\u2019t the best thing to base your diet on, Donald has one relatively reasonable explanation for why he eats it so much. Author Michael Wolff claimed in his 2018 book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House that Donald \u201chad a longtime fear of being poisoned.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further wrote that Trump thought that since nobody knew he was coming, the food was prepared in a way that was safe for him.<\/p>\n

Besides fast food, Donald reportedly likes well-done steaks with ketchup. In 2016, his former butler, Tony Senecal, who died in 2020, told the Palm Beach Post that Trump told him not to add any \u201cgarbage\u201d to his dish. That meant no relishes, garnishes, or vegetables.<\/p>\n

As Donald Trump returns to the White House with his \u201cAmerica First\u201d agenda, the administration\u2019s view of a healthy diet has also changed. Just days ago, Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr launched a new set of dietary guidelines for Americans focused on promoting whole foods, proteins, and healthy fats.<\/p>\n

\u201cProtein and healthy fats are essential and were wrongly discouraged in prior dietary guidelines,\u201d Kennedy said. \u201cWe are ending the war on saturated fats.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, let\u2019s guess he won\u2019t change his McDonald\u2019s orders anytime soon.<\/p>\n

On Katie Miller\u2019s podcast, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. discussed Donald Trump\u2019s diet, admitting he\u2019s amazed the president is still alive.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe interesting thing about the president is that he eats really bad food, which is McDonald\u2019s, and, you know, candy and Diet Coke. But he drinks Diet Coke at all times. He has the constitution of a deity. I don\u2019t know how he\u2019s alive, but he is,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The US Health Secretary added that the president claims to only eat fast food when he\u2019s \u201con the road,\u201d as he trusts \u2018big corporations\u2019 and doesn\u2019t want to get sick. Therefore, for example, at Mar-a-Lago, he eats better food.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he\u2019s at Mar-a-Lago or the White House, he\u2019s eating really good food,\u201d RFK Jr added, not giving details on whether the \u201creally good\u201d food was healthier or not.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you travel with him, you get the impression that he\u2019s just pumping himself full of poison all day long, and you don\u2019t know how he\u2019s walking around, much less being the most energetic person any of us have ever met,\u201d he continued on Katie Miller\u2019s podcast. \u201cBut, I actually think he does eat pretty good food. I mean, he\u2019s in incredible health.\u201d<\/p>\n
