He was fatally shot at\u00a0<strong>Utah Valley University<\/strong>\u00a0on September 10.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe was my first boss and my mentor, the first person who made me believe in myself and encouraged me to chase my TV dreams,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Harmony said. I choose my faith and love of country, and always will.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cGod Bless Charlie Kirk and his beautiful family, and God Bless these United States of America.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Broader Fallout<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Harmony is believed to be the\u00a0<strong>first American journalist punished for praising Kirk<\/strong>\u00a0publicly. The alleged shooter,\u00a0<strong>Tyler Robinson, 22<\/strong>, was arrested two days later after his father turned him in. Prosecutors are expected to pursue\u00a0<strong>capital murder charges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For Harmony, however, the story remains deeply personal.\u00a0<em>\u201cThere\u2019s a lot going on in our country right now,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0she said in her on-air tribute.\u00a0<em>\u201cBut if you do one thing today, make it be with passion, with conviction, stand up for your friends, stand up for your beliefs, and speak loudly even if your voice shakes.
