Human remains were discovered inside the automobile of a lady who vanished 23 years ago in Arkansas along with her kid, according to investigators. According to a statement from the Pope County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Adventures With Purpose, a nonprofit organization that works to solve cold cases across the country, discovered Samantha Jean Hopper\u2019s car on Tuesday in eight feet of water.<\/p>\n

On September 11, 1998, Hopper was reported missing. \u201cSamantha was reported to have been traveling to drop her daughter, Courtney Holt, off before continuing on to a concert in Little Rock; however, Samantha, her daughter, and her blue Ford Tempo were never located,\u201d the statement read. The charity organization found the car buried eight feet under water.<\/p>\n

Officials said that the human remains in the car will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock for DNA analysis.<\/p>\n

Dezarea, Hopper\u2019s daughter, noted on a memorial page that her mother was nine months pregnant at the time of her disappearance.<\/p>\n
