Trump expressed his frustration with the nations on Tuesday morning, telling reporters that Israel and Iran \u201cdon\u2019t know what the f\u2014 they\u2019re doing.\u201d
\nHours later on Tuesday, Trump claimed that the ceasefire was back on after reportedly speaking with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
\nPresident Donald Trump expressed his anger with Iran and Israel on Tuesday, June 24, after both countries reportedly broke the ceasefire he announced on Monday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don\u2019t know what the f\u2014 they\u2019re doing,\u201d Trump told reporters outside the White House before boarding Marine One en route to the NATO Summit in The Hague.<\/p>\n

Trump ordered the bombing of three Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend, seemingly assisting Israel in an act of allyship. However, he expressed his ire at both countries for continuing to bomb each other despite allegedly agreeing to end the war. Both countries have yet to comment on the ceasefire; The New York Times published reports of continued bombing in both Israel and Iran overnight. <\/p>\n

\u201cIsrael, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I\u2019ve never seen before. The biggest load that we\u2019ve seen,\u201d Trump, 79, told reporters. \u201cI\u2019m not happy with Israel. When I say, \u2018Okay, now you have 12 hours [before the ceasefire begins],\u2019 you don\u2019t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have on them. So, I\u2019m not happy with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not happy with Iran either,\u201d he added. \u201cBut I\u2019m really unhappy if Israel\u2019s going out this morning.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Associated Press reported that Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from Air Force One as he flew to the NATO Summit, and he later posted an update to Truth Social claiming the ceasefire was back on.<\/p>\n

\u201cISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly \u2018Plane Wave\u2019 to Iran,\u201d Trump wrote. \u201cNobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.\u201d<\/p>\n

In all caps, he added, \u201cIRAN WILL NEVER REBUILD THEIR NUCLEAR FACILITIES!\u201d <\/p>\n

After the United States\u2019 attack on Iran on Saturday, June 21, Trump addressed the nation from the White House, alongside Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur objective was the destruction of Iran\u2019s nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat,\u201d he said. \u201cTonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran\u2019s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ceasefire announcement came just days later, as Trump alleged on Truth Social that Iran and Israel had agreed to a \u201cComplete and Total CEASEFIRE\u2026 at which point the War will be considered, ENDED.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL,\u201d he directed. \u201cHe went on to \u201ccongratulate\u201d both Israel and Iran for \u201chaving the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, \u2018THE 12 DAY WAR.\u2019 \u201d <\/p>\n

Having once again claimed success in brokering the ceasefire on Tuesday morning, Trump wrote that he was looking forward to the NATO Summit.<\/p>\n
