Born in South Africa, she was diagnosed with Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome at just seven months old\u2014a rare condition that causes rapid aging. Doctors didn\u2019t expect her to live past her early teens, but Beandri defied the odds and lived until 19.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6541\" src=\"https:\/\/legacytimesnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Despite weighing only 12 kg and facing many challenges, she lived life to the fullest. Beandri dreamed of becoming a teacher, enjoyed school, and inspired nearly 300,000 followers on TikTok with motivational videos. Her motto, \u201cBe yourself. Love yourself. Believe in yourself,\u201d touched hearts worldwide.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\"><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6540\" src=\"https:\/\/legacytimesnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Just weeks after her 19th birthday, Beandri faced a sudden health crisis. On December 18, her mother announced that she had passed away. Beandri was the last known person in South Africa living with progeria and a strong voice for awareness and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>Her message of love, strength, and joy will live on.
